Video: Making Space: HisandHersLive Twitch Duo Stream and Creators of JukaBowl

Join us for the recording of a Libraries Twitch stream to hear from HisandHersLive, a Twitch duo stream, made up of Judy and Andrew Kristensen, for the game Apex Legends. They have been streaming since 2019 and in that time, have built and grown their brand significantly, founded a weekly tournament series to highlight female gamers and have been signed by a professional gaming organization. Judy will discuss her path through gaming as well as the development of her tournament series and the importance of highlighting female gamers in a very male dominated environment. Andrew will discuss some of the technicalities of streaming, particularly when creating a dual stream setup.

This event was followed by an Apex Legends tournament, hosted by the NC State University Libraries and HisandHersLive November 10th at 7:00 pm. Teams of 3 were required to have one female or non-binary identified person and one current NCSU student, faculty, or staff.
